Looking back on a photo from the past can stir up all sorts of emotions. Nostalgia being one of them. In my experience, looking back on the past, you may not always remember exactly what you did or what was said but you almost always remember how you felt. My goal is to pair an image to those nostalgic memories. The candid photo is certainly one of my favorite types of photos to capture. As unobtrusive as I can be, like a fly on the wall, I aim to freeze these special moments in time, so when you look back on yourself, when the children grow up, when you’re reminiscing about the old times you hold near and dear, you can relive those feelings once again as if it is happening right before your eyes in real time.
